thank goodness I have Mimecast, but it's troubling to say the least. I have to log into Mimecast and find them via search there, forward them to myself, and proceed. Each item is stored as a separate file, which makes indexing with Spotlight for searching much simpler. Note that Outlook for Mac does not use PST and OST files. Under that directory, e-mail is stored in Data Records/Messages. Slight other thing that's troubling - I swear I'm either accidentally deleting email suddenly 13 years into my career (lol) or the search function on Outlook for Mac just does not work. The files are in /Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/Main Identity. I have 69 flagged items on my macbook air and 88 flagged on my mac mini. I can go line by line and clean it up but I'm wondering if everyone is just living with this. So - the thing that's insane - and I've never had this issue when using a desktop + laptop on Outlook for Windows.
I have a mac mini at my desk connected to my main setup where I do most of my work, then I have a macbook air that I travel with and sit on the couch and work til midnight, y'all know the deal I'm sure :) However - Outlook is driving me legit bonkers. Alright guys, this is driving me bonkers.
